Cora comes from a family whose members have been scholars for generations, so it made sense for her to become a teacher – a job that guaranteed a good salary, being paid on time, and with plenty of holidays. However, Cora's introduction to Amway through her primary school classmate opened her eyes to new possibilities. Attending her classmate's Diamond Rally and witnessing her remarkable success inspired Cora to consider making a transformative change in her own life.

According to Cora, choosing to develop an Amway business is “a wise and far-sighted decision". Over the years, she has faced numerous trials and challenges, such as building her own team, attending company-sponsored overseas seminars, and going through two pregnancies in Australia.
